THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PALPABLE (C Orffer) stood as the start was effected, losing many lengths. b) ELIZABETH GRACE (C Zackey) and LHASA (R Khathi) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ELIZABETH GRACE (C Zackey) jumped a patch at approximately the 800m. b) LOTUS ISLAND (R Fourie) raced green. c) In view of the performance of PALPABLE (C Orffer), which after being slow to begin, jumped a patch at approximately the 800m and finished tailed off, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding PALPABLE (C Orffer), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to jump on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 19/06/2024 to 25/06/2024 inclusive). PALPABLE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. e) ROCCAPINA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer M Arnold, acting on behalf of Trainer C Bass-Robinson, was advised.
