THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	The tongue tie on LIKETHECLAPPERS (JP van der Merwe) was re-fitted at the start, causing a delay.
b)	HANG OUT THE STARS (R Fourie) and UNSOLVED RIDDLE (M Mjoka) were restless in the stalls.
c)	UNSOLVED RIDDLE (M Mjoka), SPIRIT'S UNITE (A Domeyer) and HEART STEALER (O Noach) jumped slow, losing one length
d)	SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL (J Solomons) jumped slow, losing four lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Jockey J Solomons reported that SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
b)	Jockey R Fourie reported that, in his opinion, the performance of HANG OUT THE STARS was disappointing. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
c)	In view of the performance of LIKETHECLAPPERS (JP van der Merwe), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL (J Solomons), this mare's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to jump on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 19/06/2024 to 25/06/2024 inclusive). SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
