THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CAPTAIN'S DESTINY (A Arries) was reluctant to load. b) RED MOON RISING (A Andrews) jumped slow, losing one length. c) BLACK PATH (X Carstens) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey R Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with QHAWEKAZI, which raced wide without cover on the turn and into the straight, and he did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) In view of the report from the Starter regarding CAPTAIN'S DESTINY (A Arries), VH Marshall will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. c) MIA'S HARPER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer D Lilley, acting on behalf of Trainer DM Kannemeyer, was advised.
