Stipes Report
The start of this Race was delayed due the course farrier having to attend to the left front shoe on BLAZING LIGHT. Examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed fit to race. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start KING BAVARIAN (A Mgudlwa) was squeezed out between L' ULTIMO (R A Venniker) which jumped in and ROY'S ROCKER (M Yeni) which jumped out. b) L' ULTIMO (R A Venniker) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. c) Apprentice I Taka reported that MARIACHI MADNESS did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performances of LEOPARD LADY (N Patel) (24.85 lengths, 16/1 in the betting), COLUMBIA ROAD (M Thackeray) (9.35 lengths, 25/2 in the betting) and ROY'S ROCKER (M Yeni) (10.25 lengths, 17/2 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) BLAZING LIGHT (S Veale), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S H Ferrie advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MARIACHI MADNESS raced without blinkers (advised 18.06.2024/07h21). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
