THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	Shortly after the start, GLAWARI (*N Nastili) was squeezed out between DHOW SOLO (C Habib), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and BOSSY BOOTS (D Schwarz), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
b)	SAMOA (K A Brewer) jumped awkwardly outwards leaving the stalls.
c)	WESTERN WISHES (S Khumalo) was slow losing one length and thereafter slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Jockey	P Strydom reported that MIDNIGHT FUSION changed stride continually in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 		
b)	In view of the performance of GOLDEN ASPEN (*J Botes), (distance 10,75 lengths, betting 8/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.	
c)	JASIRI (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
