THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CANFORD ROSE (K A Brewer) was slow losing three lengths. Trainer R R Sage was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (PHvdW). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, LINGANOMORE (M Yeni) was carried out marginally by RANI OF KITTUR (R Danielson), which shifted out away from the crop and was corrected. b) In view of the performance of ANGEL'S WISH (K Matsunyane), (distance 4,25 lengths, betting 5/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) RANI OF KITTUR (R Danielson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J Dhlamini advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) DARLING HARBOUR raced equipped with blinkers (declared 19 June 2024 at 08H35). b) LINGANOMORE raced with club colours (blue with a black cap) Stipes permission. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) ANGEL'S WISH examined post race, nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS. DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: None.
