THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DRIFTER'S DREAM (M Yeni) reared in the stalls on one occasion. Lost 2 lengths. b) ROY'S LIZZIE (N Patel) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start DRIFTER'S DREAM (M Yeni), ROY'S LIZZIE (N Patel) and RUBY RISING (S Veale) were carried in by BLOWIN IN THE WIND (A Mgudlwa) which jumped in sharply. b) RUBY RISING (S Veale) and MIA BARCA (*A R Al-Mansouri) were hanging in from the 300m. c) Jockey R A Venniker reported that she felt something amiss in the running with FANTASTIC WORLD. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Apprentice D Pillay (ROY'S DAISY) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. e) Trainer P V Lafferty signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for BUGSIE. Accordingly, a warning was issued. f) MISS LADYATERIX (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Y Govender advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) EDGE OF TOMORROW raced equipped with blinkers (advised 21.06.2024/13h59). b) ROY'S DAISY raced equipped with blinkers (advised 20.06.2024/09h12). c) ROY'S LIZZIE raced equipped with a compression mask, with alumites in front and unshod behind (advised 20.06.2024/09h13). d) Apprentice A R Al-Mansouri (MIA BARCA) weighed out at 56.5kg and was only able to claim 3.5kg of his 4kg Apprentice allowance.
