THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FABULOUS (R A Venniker) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) VISION TO ACHIEVE (A Mgudlwa) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) Approaching the 200m ZINIKELE (R Fourie) had to steady and switch in when awkwardly placed between FABULOUS (R A Venniker) which shifted out marginally away from the crop, and MY LADY SOUL (S Khumalo) which rolled in. Thereafter, Jockey S Khumalo's (MY LADY SOUL) crop was accidentally struck from his hand by Jockey R A Venniker (FABULOUS). c) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that DAMOSTAR did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) MALCOLM'S DREAM (C F Dicken), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Dixon advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) VISION TO ACHIEVE raced fitted with a tongue tie and without blinkers (advised 18.06.2024/15h26). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
