THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DEMIGOD (*AR Al-Mansouri), CATCH YOUR BREATH (K Minnie), ANGELSEA (*MH Alabdulmalik) and SEA OF TEARS (S Khathi) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Apprentice AR Al-Mansouri (DEMIGOD) appeared before the Board and was advised not to use his crop with the level of intensity that he had used, especially when his mount is not in contention to run a place. b) Jockey S Naidoo reported that FAIRY TRIPP took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey C Maujean reported that CUE THE REBEL (C Maujean) coughed post-race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) Jockey S Khathi reported that SEA OF TEARS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer K Mitchley was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. e) In view of the performance of EMPRESSOFNORMANDY (C Zackey), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
