THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) 	TULIP TREE (*S Sosibo) was squeezed out shortly after the start. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	Shortly after the start, TULIP TREE (*S Sosibo) was squeezed out when awkwardly placed between ONE FELL SWOOP (*A R Al-Mansouri) and DOLCEZZA (P Mxoli), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
b)	Shortly after the start, WINGS WITHIN ME (G Lerena) was buffeted when awkwardly placed between RUNWAY BOMB (C Habib) and MIDNIGHT GEM (D Schwarz), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
c)	In view of the performance of ONE FELL SWOOP (*A R Al-Mansouri), (distance 9,00 lengths, betting 7/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.	
d)	In view of the performance of DOLCEZZA (P Mxoli), (distance 17,25 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.	
e)	Jockey C Habib reported that RUNWAY BOMB made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning MIDNIGHT GEM, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this mare is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer P P Labuschagne to be advised. 		
g)	CALLMEWHENUNEEDME (J R Syster), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
