THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WINASHARE (K Minnie) was stubborn loading. b) NATURAL WONDER (*DB Geerthsen) was nervous in the stalls and rushed the front gates. c) OVER THE ATLANTIC (Y Ramzan) jumped inwards. d) SEPTEMBER FLOWER (R Fourie) and TARTAN QUEEN (L Mxothwa) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed due to the inclement weather conditions. b) Leaving the 300m THREAD OF LIFE (C Maujean) and SEPTEMBER FLOWER (R Fourie) came together and brushed continuously when THREAD OF LIFE (C Maujean) shifted out slightly away from the crop and was immediately straightened. c) CAPE FLOWER (*N Nastili) was hanging in from the 200m. d) SEPTEMBER FLOWER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
