Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	DANSE MILORD (N Patel) was stubborn to load. 
b)	RAISEAHALLELUJAH (R Fourie) reared in the stalls on two occasions. 
c)	PRIME EXAMPLE (D De Gouveia) and BREEZE OVER (M Yeni) lost 1 length.
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	PRIME EXAMPLE (D De Gouveia) over-raced in the early and middle stages and thereafter faded badly from the 200m. In view of this performance (7.55 lengths, 33/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
b)	At approximately the 2800m INDIAN OCEAN (S Khumalo) which commenced to over-race, was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of RAISEAHALLELUJAH (R Fourie).
c)	At approximately the 400m ONE WAY TRAFFIC (D Muscutt), TAXHAVEN (*M K Katjedi) and INDIAN OCEAN (S Khumalo) were carried out by BASIE RAAKVAT (P Mxoli) which commenced to hang out. As a consequence of this, RAISEAHALLELUJAH (R Fourie) was steadied and switched in to continue its run.
d)	Apprentice M K Katjedi (TAXHAVEN) accidentally dropped his crop at the 300m.
e)	MADISON VALLEY (K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson advised (SP).
f)	SHOOT THE RAPIDS (C Habib), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson advised (NS).


JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	INDIAN OCEAN raced fitted with a tongue tie (advised 29.06.2024/11h10).
b)	Jockey K Matsunyane (ROCK FALL) weighed out at 52.5kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight. 
c)	Jockey K A Brewer (MADISON VALLEY) weighed out at 52kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight.
