THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	IGUGULETHU (+S Watson) was nervous in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride.
b)	GOTCHA BUZZ (MZ Naki) jumped inwards and thereafter was slow into stride.
c)	SILVAWARE (+S Ngqabuko) was slow into stride.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Approaching the 100m WAR SWORD (+M July) was first steadied and then had to be eased off the heels of IGUGULETHU (+S Watson), which shifted inwards. Following this incident WAR SWORD (+M July) had to be checked off the heels of PONTE VECCHIO (+O Moyake) and made slight contact with BELLA ATTRICE (+S Liyaba). 
	Work Rider S Watson was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of IGUGULETHU he 	failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to BELLA ATTRICE & WAR SWORD at approximately the 	100m. Work Rider S Watson signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider 	race. (Date: 20 September 2024)
b)	In view of the performance of AND ACTION (+E Thuthu), (Betting 9/4; Distance 9.65 lengths) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
	Trainer K Mitchley was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables.
c)	Work Rider O Moyake was charged with a contravention of Rule 66.4 (read with Guideline 1 on overweight) in 	that he, as the rider of PONTE VECCHIO, weighed back in at 58.8kgs, 1.3kg in excess of the weight at which 	he was declared out (57.5kgs). Work Rider O Moyake signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from 	riding in one (1) Work Rider race. (Date: 20 September 2024)
d)	SILVAWARE (+S Ngqabuko) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary 	haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The 	National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr E Reynders)
