b)	PROPHET (M van Rensburg) kicked the back gates in the starting stalls.
c)	GIMME'S LADDIE (C Zackey) and ANATOLIAN SILVER (KA Brewer) jumped slow, losing one length.
d)	THUNDER MASTER (D Ashby) was slow into stride.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	KING OF SEVILLE (*DB Geerthsen) was hanging in from the 400m. 
b)	Jockey D Ashby reported that THUNDER MASTER did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
	Trainer JVA Strydom was requested to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables.
c)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding BATTLE OF KURSK (L Mxothwa), this gelding's starting stall 	certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended for 30 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as 	he proves to be tractable to load with a companion. (Suspension dates: 13/07/2024 to 11/08/2024 inclusive). 	BATTLE OF KURSK may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
d)	GIMME'S LADDIE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (LM)
