THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HOUSE OF SUSSEX (L Mxothwa) jumped awkwardly and thereafter was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start CONSIGLIERE (C Zackey) was buffeted between MAFIABAGSTHEMONEY (*I Taka) and MY TRUE LOVE (R Fourie). In this incident, the hindquarters of MY TRUE LOVE (R Fourie) were turned inwards. b) CONSIGLIERE (C Zackey) and CONNECTION (*N Nastili) were hanging in from approximately the 300m. c) MY TRUE LOVE (R Fourie) was hanging in from approximately the 250m. d) Jockey R Fourie reported that MY TRUE LOVE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) CONSIGLIERE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised.
