THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STORM AHEAD (D De Gouveia) and STOP THE TRAFFIC (*T Mayhew) were restless in the stalls. b) STORM AHEAD (D De Gouveia) and MO MENT (J R Syster) jumped inwards sharply leaving the stalls. c) SIERRA SKY (N Klink) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, STORM AHEAD'S (D De Gouveia) and CONFEDERATE'S (G Lerena) heads made contact leaving the stalls. b) STOP THE TRAFFIC (*T Mayhew) raced green. c) Jockey N Klink reported that SIERRA SKY made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) PRESSONREGARDLESS (M van Rensburg), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee N Radford was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) OKLAHOMA TWISTER scalp wound left hind. b) STOP THE TRAFFIC mouth injury. c) SIERRA SKY not striding out right front; abnormal respiratory noise.
