THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE INCREDIBLE INDRANI (G LERENA) PROVING STUBBORN LOADING. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) INCREDIBLE INDRANI (G Lerena) was stubborn loading. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer F P Habib was advised (GT). b) ANGEL OF MY HEART (M Yeni) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, PARTY PUNCH (P Mxoli), which jumped outwards, was bumped in by SPIRIT IN THE WIND (M van Rensburg), which clipped the heels of ANGEL OF MY HEART (M Yeni), which jumped inwards sharply leaving the stalls. b) In view of the performance of INCREDIBLE INDRANI (G Lerena), (distance 11,75 lengths, betting 5/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey C Zackey reported that PERFORM took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to INCREDIBLE INDRANI, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 24 July 2024 to 30 July 2024. INCREDIBLE INDRANI may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer F P Habib was advised. e) PARTY PUNCH (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P P Labuschagne advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) ENCHANTED ROYAL was ridden by Apprentice N Nastili (declared 22 July 2024 at 09H24). Trainer P P Labuschagne was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.1.1 in that he declared Jockey K A Brewer to ride ENCHANTED ROYAL without having obtained his prior consent. Trainer P P Labuschagne signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000. b) PARTY PUNCH was ridden by Jockey P Mxoli, who weighed out at 55,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight as declared (declared 23 July 2024 at 07H50). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) ANGEL OF MY HEART raced with a compression mask on (declared 20 July 2024 at 07H26). b) INCREDIBLE INDRANI raced with a tongue tie on (declared 22 July 2024 at 08H05).
