THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 300m, SACAMBAYA (K Matsunyane) and WHISPERS OF WAR (AUS) (M van Rensburg) were carried out by GIMMEACHOICE (*M K Katjedi), which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. b) In the concluding stages, MAX THE MAGICIAN (M Yeni) and OPEN HIGHWAY (D Schwarz) were carried in by THUNEE PLAYA (*T Mayhew), which commenced to hang in and shifted in away from the crop and was immediately straightened. c) THUNEE PLAYA (*T Mayhew), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee M Pandaram, acting on behalf of Trainer L Karriem, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) THUNEE PLAYA was ridden by Apprentice T Mayhew (declared 23 July 2024 at 08H48).
