THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LANDOFTHERISINGSUN (G Lerena) and HAPPY DAYS (G Wright) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After the running of Race 1, the going was changed to soft. b) At the 900m GARDEN SUN (D Ashby) was steadied and made slight contact with the hindquarters of LANDOFTHERISINGSUN (G Lerena) when awkwardly placed between LANDOFTHERISINGSUN (G Lerena) and TOWNSMAN (O Noach), which pulled hard in the early and middle stages and shifted out away from the inside running rail. c) HAPPY DAYS (G Wright) was hanging in in the straight. d) CUMBRE VIEJA (A Arries) was hanging in from the 200m. e) SOUND OF THE SEA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
