THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start ACTOR (*S Hlengwa) was bumped by HAPPY LANCER (R A Venniker) which jumped in. Thereafter HAPPY LANCER (R A Venniker) was bumped by ISIKWISHIWISHI (A Mgudlwa) which jumped in. b) Leaving the 150m Jockey S Moodley's (LUHAMBA PHAMBILI) crop became briefly entangled with his right-side rein. c) Assistant Trainer G van Zyl acting on behalf of Trainer G van Zyl signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.1 in that he failed to notify the Chief Stipendiary Steward within two days that the horse VIHAAN'S WEB is a gelding.
