THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls RED ROSES TOO (S Veale) was bumped by SASHAY AWAY (A Mgudlwa) which was bumped in by PATANTS HEIR (C Zackey) which jumped inwards. b) Approaching the 150m BLUE HORIZON (*K J Lihaba) was carried in marginally and thereafter was momentarily inconvenienced off the heels of LA DIVINA (S Moodley) which rolled in. c) In view of the performances of SHANTA'S PRIDE (R Fourie) (4.15 lengths, 5/2 in the betting) and SASHAY AWAY (A Mgudlwa) (8.30 lengths, 25/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) STORMY CHOICE (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
