THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RHYTHM KING (O Noach) was unruly behind the stalls and restless in the stalls. b) CRESCENT (C Orffer) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed as the starting stalls had to be set up and positioned on the track, the moveable inside running rail placed in position and the paramedics were late arriving at the start. b) WALK WITH ME (R Fourie) and RAFA BAY (A Andrews) were hanging out from the 250m. c) PENNY'S WORLD (M Mjoka) raced wide on the turn and into the straight. d) GIMMEATHRILL (L Mxothwa) raced green. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding RHYTHM KING (O Noach), Trainer SW Humby will be advised to have this colt re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. f) WALK WITH ME, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
