THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	LAUNCH CODE (M Yeni) was nervous in the stalls, stood awkwardly and thereafter jumped slow, losing one length.
b)	TO THE HILT (S Khumalo) jumped inwards.
c)	CARAMEL FUDGE (Y Ramzan) was slow into stride.
	
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	MO FLOW (S Naidoo) proved difficult proceeding to the start and had to be led riderless by a Handler, 	causing a delay. Trainer K Mitchley was advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future 	engagements, it may be suspended.
b)	Shortly after the start CARAMEL FUDGE (Y Ramzan) made contact with TO THE HILT (S Khumalo), which jumped inwards. 
c)	Jockey D Schwarz reported that he felt something amiss with LEGAL CHITCHAT. The Veterinary Surgeon 	was requested to examine this gelding.
	Trainer JVA Strydom was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return 	to the stables.
d)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding LAUNCH CODE (M Yeni), Trainer K Mitchley will be advised to 	have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
e)	DESTINY'S ANGEL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer DG Smith, acting on behalf of Trainer GD Smith, was advised. (HK)
