THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VEGAS HI RISE (MK Katjedi) was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Apprentice G Samo-Burthia (GLOBAL THUNDER) rode a satisfactory qualifying ride. b) Trainer B Webber was charged with a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.1 in that he failed to notify the local office of the National Horseracing Authority within two (2) business days that PHALA MILLIONS had been gelded. Trainer B Webber signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R500,00. c) VEGAS HI RISE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer FP Habib was advised.
