THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KWAGGA BLITZ (M van Rensburg) was restless in the stalls. b) POTBERRIE (M Yeni) and RAWALPINDI (*T Mayhew) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, KWAGGA BLITZ'S (M van Rensburg) hindquarters were brushed by RAWALPINDI (*T Mayhew), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) Shortly after the start, INSPECTOR JAMES (K de Melo) was brushed inwards by KARATE KID (P Mxoli), which was bumped in by POTBERRIE (M Yeni), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) KARATE KID (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
