EN ROUTE TO THE START, STREET ART (M K KATJEDI) LIFTED ITS RIGHT FRONT SHOE WHICH WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE FARRIER. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey S Moodley reported that PYROMANIAC did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) MERIDIUS (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A P Peter advised (AH).
