THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SAIGON SUZIE (K de Melo) was stubborn loading and thereafter jumped slow, losing one length. b) DANCE KING (Wes Marwing) jumped inwards. c) LETS PLAY POKER (MK Katjedi) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, LETS PLAY POKER (MK Katjedi) was squeezed out when awkwardly placed between OMBUDSMAN (P Strydom) and DANCE KING (Wes Marwing), which jumped inwards. As a consequence, LETS PLAY POKER (MK Katjedi) lost momentum and gave ground to the field. b) In view of the report from the Starter regarding SAIGON SUZIE (K de Melo), Trainer JJ van Vuuren was advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. c) SAIGON SUZIE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
