THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FLIGHT TIME (C Habib) jumped slow, losing one length. b) POPLAR PARK (G Lerena) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) JILTED (P Strydom) was hanging in badly from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey P Strydom reported that this filly shortened its stride drastically in the concluding stages and did not stride out freely in running.
