THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUNSHINE DAY (C Zackey) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey C Zackey (SUNSHINE DAY) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with SUNSHINE DAY in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning BIOFARMER, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer H E Adamson was advised. c) CIAN THE CONQUEROR (M van Rensburg), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee F Naude, acting on behalf of Trainer C Spies, was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) SUNSHINE DAY: Jockey C Zackey weighed out at 55,1kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
