b)	THE CANE TRAIN (G Lerena) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	At approximately the 1600m, LAKE KIVU (K Matsunyane) was carried out by RASTIGNAC (P Strydom), which commenced to over-race. This incident led to MO MENT (J R Syster) being steadied to avoid the heels of LAKE KIVU (K Matsunyane).
b)	Leaving the 400m, OKLAHOMA TWISTER (Wes Marwing) was carried out by QUELIMANE (K A Brewer), which was directed outwards away from the heels of RASTIGNAC (P Strydom), which had come to the end of its run and commenced to give ground to the field. 
c)	Apprentice M K Katjedi reported that ALAKANANI did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. 	
d)	Jockey P Strydom reported that RASTIGNAC did not stride out freely in running.
