THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUPER CASANOVA (N Patel), MONOCLE (*N Nastili) and NEW FRONTIER (M Yeni) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Jockey A Mgudlwa (GLOBAL RULER) accidentally dropped his crop at the 250m. b) Approaching the 200m ALWAYS SHINING (C Habib) was carried out by MAGMA MAGIC (M Thackeray) which rolled out. Thereafter MAGMA MAGIC (M Thackeray) and ALWAYS SHINING (C Habib) came together and brushed. c) In the concluding stages MAGMA MAGIC (M Thackeray) which was racing in restricted room between ALWAYS SHINING (C Habib) and LANDSEER (S Moodley) was brushed by LANDSEER (S Moodley) which was hanging out from the 250m and shifted out marginally. d) LANDSEER (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer B Forster acting on behalf of Trainer W A Nel advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MONOCLE raced equipped with blinkers (advised 18.08.2024/16h28). b) BUBBA GUMP raced equipped with blinkers (advised 20.08.2024/07h36).
