a)	Apprentice S Sosibo (LOVERS LANE) was momentarily unbalanced when he briefly lost his footing to his right-side stirrup iron leaving the stalls.
b)	I'M THE BUZZ (R Khathi) raced wide on the turn. 
c)	Jockey A Andrews reported that MORNING CHESS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	Apprentice S Sosibo was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that as the rider of LOVERS LANE he misused his crop by striking LOVERS LANE more than 12 times (13) which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race. Apprentice S Sosibo signed an admission of guilt and was fined R2000,00.
