THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SLIM JANNIE (C Zackey) kicked the back gates in the starting stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BLUE HOLLY (P Mxoli) was hanging out from the 350m. b) In view of the performance of TEATRO (R Fourie) (Betting 25/2; Distance 15.75 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables. c) CRUISE CONTROL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
