THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DANUBE (S Khumalo) was slow into stride. b) MASTER OF MYSTERY (T Godden) stood, losing 5 lengths. c) STRICLTY MAMBO (*D Pillay) jumped awkwardly, lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) FINALMENTE (*N Nastili) proved difficult to assist in the early stages. b) STRICTLY MAMBO (*D Pillay) hung out from the 300m. c) At the 250m DANUBE (S Khumalo) which raced green, was bumped out by FINALMENTE (*N Nastili), which rolled out. d) Approaching the 200m BRING THE MAGIC (A Mgudlwa) and ONE SCOTCH (M Yeni) came together and brushed. e) In view of the performances of MY BOY LOLLIPOP (S Veale) (10.10 lengths, 18/10 in the betting) and FINALMENTE (*N Nastili) (16.80 lengths, 125/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer F Robinson was requested to report back on the condition of MY BOY LOLLIPOP on return to stables. f) In view of the Starter's report with regard to MASTER OF MYSTERY (T Godden), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 09.09.2024 to the 15.09.2024. MASTER OF MYSTERY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M D Miller was advised.
