THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CALLING ALL ANGELS (M Yeni) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start MAMAS BABY (M V'Rensburg) was brushed by CALLING ALL ANGLES (M Yeni) which jumped inwards. b) Jockey C Zackey (AN AIR OF PRIDE) reported that his saddle slipped backwards in the running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. c) Jockey M Yeni (CALLING ALL ANGELS) accidentally dropped his crop at the 50m. d) In view of the performances of MAMAS BABY (M V'Rensburg) (7.45 lengths, 7/2 in the betting) and AN AIR OF PRIDE (C Zackey) (15.20 lengths, 14/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) LADYBUG (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
