Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SAG HARBOR (G Wright) jumped awkwardly and thereafter was slow into stride. b) NATIVE RULER (JP van der Merwe) and ALL ABOUT LOVE (S Veale) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed as there was no live feed to the Stipendiary Stewards boardroom, which the technicians were able to rectify. This was brought to the attention of the Racing Operator. b) NATIVE RULER (JP van der Merwe) and ALL ABOUT LOVE (S Veale) raced green. c) Jockey A Andrews appeared before the Board and was strongly advised that while the Stewards were satisfied his finishing position had not been compromised, he needs to ride his mounts to the finish. d) LET IT BE SAID, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised.
