THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HOWZIT BOET (M Yeni) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) MANZ KNIGHT (P Strydom) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, MADEIRA CLIFFS (K A Brewer) was carried outwards by HOWZIT BOET (M Yeni), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) CHIEF OF STAFF (*T Mayhew) over-raced in the early stages. c) Jockey G Lerena reported that CITY LIGHTS did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) MANZ KNIGHT (P Strydom) hung in in the concluding stages. e) HIGH QUEUE (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Naude was advised (MduP). . JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
