THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TIK TOK ADDICTION (P Mxoli) was slow losing three lengths and thereafter slow into stride. b) BEVERLY BABY (N Klink) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BERRIESOFTHESTRAW (K Matsunyane) over-raced in the early and middle stages and as a result, proved difficult negotiating the turn. b) Jockey J Gates reported that ENCHANTED ROYAL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) FUTURE DATE (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S J Gray advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
