THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MISTER SPEAKER (C Zackey) was stubborn loading. b) FAMILY LAW (C Habib) was fractious in the stalls, kicked the back gates, was taken out, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon, passed suitable to race and reloaded. c) MY BEST SHOT (R Fourie) was nervous in the stalls and kicked the back gates. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FAMILY LAW (C Habib), which over raced in the early stages, raced prominently approximately ten lengths clear at the head of the field and tired in the straight. b) MY BEST SHOT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
