THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ULTIMATE JEWEL (*K Strydom) raced green around the turn. b) IN WITH A CHANCE (S Veale), MESCAL (W Kennedy) and ROYAL VICTORY (R Khathi) raced green. c) At the 100m, ROYAL VICTORY (R Khathi) was carried out marginally by MESCAL (W Kennedy) which shifted out away from the crop and was straightened. d) Jockey S Moodley reported that JET ORBIT took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of BOUNDLESS BASH (D Dillon) (4.70 lengths, 33/20 in betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) I AM REGAL (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
