THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TOTHEMOONANDBACK (*I Taka) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At the 800m NAUSHON (O Noach) raced onto the heels of BLAME IT ON ME (X Carstens) and had to be steadied. b) OZARK (R Venniker) was continually held up for a clear run until leaving the 200m. c) Jockey K Steyn reported that SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL choked up in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) OZARK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer PD Reeves was advised.
