THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMERICAN REBEL (M Yeni) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 300m, AMERICAN REBEL (M Yeni) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of PARTY PUNCH (P Mxoli), and on the inside of CIRCLE OF GRACE (*T Mayhew), which shifted in away from the crop and was straightened. During this incident, Apprentice T Mayhew, the rider of CIRCLE OF GRACE, accidentally dropped his crop. b) HIGH QUEUE (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Naude, acting on behalf of Trainer C Binda, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) HIGH QUEUE was ridden by Jockey C Zackey (declared 23 September 2024 at 13H04).
