THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) KHAYA'S HOPE (C Zackey) was hanging in from the 300m. b) KING REGENT (D Schwarz) was hanging in from the 200m. c) Jockey L Mxothwa reported that PORT LOUIS changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer B Crawford will be advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables. d) Jockey K Minnie reported that THE MAURITIAN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
