Stipes Report

The start of this Race was delayed due to GREENLIGHT EXPRESS (M V'Rensburg) proving difficult when proceeding to the start and Jockeys R Venniker (I AM CLASSY) and M Yeni (ARTIST'S MODEL) attending to their saddles at the start. 
  
THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	SILVER PLATTER (S Moodley) lost two lengths. 
b)	GREENLIGHT EXPRESS (M V'Rensburg) jumped out awkwardly and lost one length. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	GREENLIGHT EXPRESS (M V'Rensburg) failed to parade in front of the grandstand and proved difficult proceeding to the start. Assistant Trainer G van Zyl acting on behalf of Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) will be advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended.  
b)	Shortly after the start, HOODWINKED (K Matsunyane) was brushed in by TIBBOTT BOURKE (*J Botes) which rolled in away from SEE MY FUTURE (C Zackey). 
c)	ARTIST'S MODEL (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 300m. 
d)	ROYAL ALLIANCE (*B Plaatjies) was hanging in from the 250m.
e)	DAPPER (S Veale) and GO GRAYSON GO (D Daniels) were hanging in from the 150m. 
f)	Jockey C Zackey (SEE MY FUTURE) reported that his saddle slipped back in the running which resulted in him being unable to fully assist his mount in the running. This was confirmed by the video evidence and the Course Veterinary Surgeon.
g)	In view of the performances of SEE MY FUTURE (C Zackey) (14.70 lengths, 16/1 in the betting) and GREENLIGHT EXPRESS (M V'Rensburg) (18.95 lengths, 75/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
h)	Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss with DAPPER in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
i)	ARTIST'S MODEL (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee T Nzilane acting on behalf of Trainer M F De Kock advised (NS).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	TIBBOTT BOURKE raced equipped with blinkers (advised 26.09.24/12h20).
