THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KHICHDI (+S Valjalo) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) TIGER STORM (+T Matsoele) and SANTIAGO'S PRIDE (+C Mabaya) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Work Rider T Matsoele was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (Appendix E read with Guideline 3 on the use of the crop) in that he misused his crop by striking TIGER STORM forward of the saddle at the 400m. Work Rider T Matsoele signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider race. Suspension date: 24 October 2024. b) REMAINS OF THE DAY (+T Ncume), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (MduP). WORK RIDER CHANGES: a) THE REAL DEAL was ridden by Work Rider T Lukhele (declared 3 October 2024 at 08H44). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) PURSUIT OF FAME raced equipped with blinkers, a tongue tie on, without a compression mask and earmuffs (declared 30 September 2024 at 08H28).
