THE STARTER REPORTED: a) IT'S HER WAY (M K Katjedi) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) EASY ON ME (G Lerena) and PLAY WITH FIRE (C Habib) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, EASY ON ME (G Lerena) was bumped by IT'S HER WAY (M K Katjedi), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) Jockey G Lerena (EASY ON ME) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey G Lerena reported that EASY ON ME made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey C Maujean (WILLOWILD) did not persevere with his riding in the concluding stages. Thereafter, Jockey C Maujean reported that WILLOWILD did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) PLAY WITH FIRE (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
