THE STARTER REPORTED: a) On arriving at the start, Jockey L Mxothwa expressed concern with BRIGHT FUTURE'S action during the canter past. This gelding was examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon, was found to be not striding out on the right front leg and was withdrawn. b) GLEN NEVIS (Y Ramzan) was stubborn loading. c) STRING OF LIGHTS (M van Rensburg) was nervous in the stalls. d) ALL ABOUT LOVE (K Matsunyane) and PRINCE ANTONIO (D Schwarz) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) GLOBAL CHIEF (*DB Geerthsen) was hanging in between the 400m and the 150m. b) GLEN NEVIS (Y Ramzan) was hanging out from the 300m. c) SUMMER HEAT (P Mxoli) was hanging out from the 300m and was corrected. d) CORAL CREEK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
