THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SPRING FLING (*G Pieterse) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, PAPA C (*K Brewer) was bumped in by ATTORNEY GENERAL (G Wright) which jumped in. b) ATTORNEY GENERAL (G Wright) which tended to over-race in the early stages, was allowed to race to the front passing the 1400m. c) GRIMALDI (M Yeni) brushed the inside running rail at the 900m. d) IBUTHO (K de Melo) was hanging in from the 400m. e) GRIMALDI (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P A Peter advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
