b) Jockey K de Melo reported that RALPH THE RASCAL changed strides continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
c) Trainer P V Lafferty signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he presented SNIPER SHOT in the parade ring incorrectly equipped for this Race. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed.
d) TREAD SWIFTLY (D Dillon), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P B Muscutt advised (DZ).
