THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Due to a technical issue with the starting stalls, a manual start was effected. This was brought to the attention of the Racing Operator. b) Approaching the 400m, KING PELLES (G van Niekerk) was held up for a number of strides between the inside running rail and CORONATION TIME (A Andrews). c) KING PELLES, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Gareth van Zyl was advised.
